Fatal Weekend Wreck
Newton- A man was killed following a wreck in Newton over the weekend.
John Plunkett, 44, was killed following a wreck along Old Conover Startown Road at around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Plunkett was reportedly ejected from his pickup truck during the crash.
Plunkett ran off the road, overcorrected, and then ran off the other side of the road, leading to the crash.
