Armed Robbery Arrest
Newton- A teenager has been arrested in an armed robbery in Catawba County.
Jamar Martin, 18, has been arrested on charges of armed robbery and possession
of a controlled substance. The robbery occurred Wednesday evening at the
Catawba Pines Apartment. A woman accomplice held a gun on the victim while
Martin searched his pockets. Police are still searching for the woman.
