Code Orange Ozone Forecast
Hickory- A Code Orange ozone forecast has been issued for the Catawba Valley.
The forecast includes Burke, Catawba, Caldwell, and Alexander Counties. Open
burning is not allowed during air quality action days. Elderly people, children, active
adults, people with respiratory disease, and heart conditions should limit outdoor
activities today.
