Weekend Murder Arrest
Hickory- A Maiden man has been arrested in a weekend murder. Charles Helms, 23,
of Maiden has been charged with murder. Helms is accused of shooting and killing
David Pullian, 36, at the Silver Bullet on Highway 127. Helms turned himself into the
Catawba County Sheriff's Office. He was placed in jail without bond.
