Sex Offenders Banned From Parks
Hickory- The Hickory City Council has banned sex offenders from parks. At the
council meeting, the council voted unanimously to not allow any sex offenders in
public parks. Violation of the ordinance could result in a $500 fine and up to thirty
days in jail.
