Cow Chase Through Hildebran?
Hildebran- There was a rare police
chase this morning through the streets
of Hildebran. Police chased two cows
along the streets of Hildebran this
morning. In the pictures, you can see
the cows moving in between Hardees
and Mount Hebron United Methodist
Church. The cows were spotted near
Fifth Avenue Southeast along South
Center Street at around 7:00 a.m. and
police quickly responded. The Burke
County Sheriff's Department Animal
Control was called out the help police
track the cows. The owner of the cows,
John Huffman, came and took the cows
back to their home. Huffman said that he
had been up since 1:00 a.m. trying to
capture the cows. He said the cows had
strayed around two miles away from the
spot where they are located. The cows
are safe and at their home.
