Catawba County- A body was found Sunday afternoon in Lake Norman.

The body was found under a dock near a hotel on the lake.

Employees at the hotel reportedly found the body under the dock.

Police are unsure how long the body was in the water or the cause of death.

An autopsy will be conducted soon.
