Connelly Springs- A medical condition could have led to a fatal wreck that occurred Monday afternoon along Miller Bridge Road.

The wreck occurred at 2:30 p.m. and approximately a half of a mile from East Burke Middle School on Miller Bridge Road.

Donald Walker, 76, ran off the right side of the road, traveled through a yard, struck a power pole before the vehicle ended up in a ditch.

Walker was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers believe a medical condition could have been a factor in the crash, but they will not know officially until an autopsy is complete.
