Morganton- The Burke County School Board will be meeting tonight.

This is the first meeting of the new Burke County School Board, which who were sworn-in last week.

The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Olive Room of West Concord Resource Center located on West Concord Street.

A new chair and vice-chair will be selected tonight at the meeting. The board will also discuss appointing a new board attorney. Current board attorney Jim Jones is retiring.
