Valdese- Multiple stores in a Valdese strip mall were broke into between Sunday evening and Monday morning.

The suspect broke into Asian Food Market, Hair Affair, Happy Garden Restaurant and Fender Studio between Sunday evening and Monday morning. The suspect stole money and electronics from the businesses.

The Burke County Sheriff's Department reports that investigators found foot prints at the scene.

Police are continuing to investigate.
